Substandard steel: SON to prosecute offenders

In renewed efforts to sanitize the country of substandard steel, the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) has reiterated its commitment to prosecute erring manufacturers and distributors that indulge in the illicit trade. The Chairman, Special Task Force, SON, Engr. Enebi Onuchenyo, stated this at a stakeholders meeting with manufacturers and distributors of steel and iron rods in Lagos.
