Supervisor, Attendant Fingered in Petrol Station Robbery

Like the proverbial dog that ate a bone hung on its neck, a supervisor and his fuel pump Attendant, identified as Daniel Freedom and Mike Charles respectively are in Police net over the robbery of their petrol station.
The suspects, according to the Lagos State Police Command were the master minds, who initiated ploted and subsequently invited the four robbers, also in Police net, that carried out the operation.
Parading the suspects on Monday alongside other crime suspects at his command headquarter in Ikeja, Lagos, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr Edgal Imohimi, narrated how the arrest was made possible through credible information received on October 28, 2018, that some armed men were sighted at Skelter Petrol Station Located at Igbo — Elerin Bus stop, Ojo area of the State, robbing customers and fuel Attendants.
Operatives dispatched from Ilemba Hausa Division and the Federal special Anti Robbery squad (FSARS), were said to have stormed the scene after the suspects had fled.
However through diligent investigation, the robbers were tracked to their hiding place where four member of the gang were arrested and two toy guns, three knives and an axe were recovered.
CP Edgal told journalists that the four suspects Viz; Obinna Oforma, Ndukwa Junior, William Okon and Tony Oluchukwu who were arrested had confessed to the crime, adding that they specialized in robbing petrol station located along Igando and Ilemba Hausa axis of Lagos.
