Insecurity: Obasanjo Meets Fulani Group in Southwest

Nigeria’s former President, Olusegun Obasanjo in an audience with a Fulani group in Abeokuta, Ogun State advised Nigerians to stop the blame game and come together to fight the insecurity currently menacing the country’s unity.

Obasanjo gave the advice on Saturday while playing host to representatives of Fulanis in South West at his residence at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The former president, who has been vocal on the threatening security challenge, insists that the unity of Nigeria is the responsibility of everyone and not just the government.

He reiterated that the country must be ready to be united like it was in the 80s so that the people could continue to remain the reference point for other African countries.
