In his under world society, he is called ‘School Boy’, but from his alleged terror activities, the only school he appears to have attended, is the school of robbery and murder.
This is the story of an alleged heartless and notorious armed robber, Azeez Mustapha, who was said to have pulled the trigger that sent late Mrs. Akinbi Modupe Catherine, to her early grave, when his gang invaded the home of one Mr Akin Joseph and held him and his deceased wife hostage on new year’ s Eve, 2019.
It would be recalled that the Lagos State Police Command had on January 22nd, 2019,arrested and paraded two members of same gang that chose the popular Christian cross over night date to snuff the life of the deceased, whose children were in church service praying to welcome the new year.
Late Catherine was credited to have stood in between her husband and the robbers, pleading that they should spare the life of her beloved breadwinner, which allegedly infuriated School Boy, who shot the woman.
However, one month after the gruesome murder, four of the alleged dare devil robbers are in police net awaiting prosecution.
On police roll call are 24- years old Azeez Mustapha aka School Boy, Isah Shobayo, Ogundimu Olalekan and Rasaq Orisunmade.
Commissioner of police, Mr. Edgal Imohimi, had said while parading the suspects that School Boy and Rasaq were apprehended on the 22nd of January 2019, in an undisclosed hotel in Dopemu area of Lagos, where they were having a good time.
Edgal, who disclosed that a cut- to size double barrel gun with four live cartridges were recovered from School Boy, said the suspects have confessed to the crime.
