•Allegedly Had Contact With Atiku’s Son, NGF Colleagues Inside Aso Rock
There are strong indications that members of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) may be in palpable fear, following reports of self isolation of the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed over the coronavirus pandemic now spreading round the country.
Such fears may have become rife, following alleged contacts between the Bauchi governor and son of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.
The Governor and Atiku’s Son were said to have exchanged pleasantries inside the aircraft, prior to the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting, which held at the presidential villa on Thursday, last week.
At that meeting usually chaired by the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Mohammed was believed to have come in contact with the Vice President, including other governors whom he may have exchanged pleasantries with.
Among the governors that attended that meeting include Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo); Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos); Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi);
Gboyega Oyetola (Osun); Babagana Zulum (Borno) and Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa)
Others are Dapo Abiodun (Ogun); Simon Lalong (Plateau); Abdulahi Ganduje (Kano); Sani Bello (Niger); Abdulrahman Abdurazak (Kwara); Abdulahi Sule (Nasarawa); Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe); Godwin Obaseki (Edo); Aminu Masari (Katsina) and Hope Uzodinma (Imo).
Meanwhile the number of infected persons in Nigeria has continued to soar as the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire keeps updating Nigerians on what is now described worldwide as a pandemic.
