The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ijebu 2, Ward 5 In Owo Local Government Area Of Ondo State On Wednesday Held Its Ward Meeting.
The meeting which recorded a massive turn out of members in the ward was attended by the ward leaders and party chieftains.
Leaders present at the ward meeting include: Special Adviser to the governor on Infrastructure, land and housing, Engr. Raimi Aminu Olayiwola, Chairman of the party in Owo local government Mr Sydney Olayemi, members of the party Exco in the local government, Ward Excos, and member representing Owo Constituency 2 in the house of Assembly, Hon. Mukaila Musa.
Others include ;Special Assistant to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Natural Resources, Hon. Lawal Fatai Olushina, Mr Adeyemi Olayemi Koko.
Members of the party in the ward reiterated their support for the Oluwarotimi Akeredolu – led administration.
The party faithfuls commended the governor for his performance across the nooks and crannies of the state, describing him as a good ambassador of owo land.
Engr. Raimi assured the party members of the commitment of Governor Akeredolu to bring more development into the state.
He disclosed that the governor has an unwavering passion for the progress of the state and human capital development.
Engr. Raimi said spite the financial challenges encountered by the governor, he still continue to embark on infrastructural development of the state.
The Governor aide highlighted some of the achievement of the Akeredolu-led administration as :
-Construction /renovation of over 500 primary schools across the state
-Construction of Abusoro road in Akure.
-Construction of Iwalewa road Akure
-Construction of Bajare road in Idanre
-Construction of Opasorun road, Idanre
-Construction of Sabomi road in Ese Odo
-Construction of Jubilee – Ugbe road, Ikare
-Rehabilitation of the deadly Oke Oka road
-Construction of a 2.5km road in Ifon among others.
Engr. Raimi informed the people that the
Akeredolu-led administration will commence work on the construction of Ore flyover Bridge in the next one month.
He explained that despite the fact the Federal government warning that it will no longer refund states that construct federal roads, Governor Akeredolu has finalize arrangment to commence the road since he has promised the people.
The Special Adviser also disclosed that work is ongoing on Ijoka – Idanre road.
He urged the people to exercise patience and keep faith with Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu -led administration.
The Special Adviser also distributed gifts items to all members at the meeting.
