The Nigerian Police has re-arrested a kidnap King pin popularly called Stanley who is serving a 21-year jail term at the Okere Prison, Warri, Delta State and who was allegedly released recently by a Prison warder identified as Tony Nkenta to carry out his usual kidnapping business.
This shocking incident happened on Friday, June 22,2018 at the Nigerian Prison, Warri, according to a source.
It was gathered that the notorious Kidnapper who was serving his jail term at the Sapele Prison before being transferred to Warri Prison was allegedly released that fateful day and accompanied by another prison warder to meet with other members of his gang at a Hotel in Warri, Delta State to discuss with the family of their latest victim.
According to a police source that claimed anonymity, luck however ran out of them when the DSS Officials tracked their phone calls before being rounded up by SARS Police Officers.
The Delta State Police Command Police Public Relation Officer, Andrew Nnaemeka who confirmed the incident however said he was not in position to speak on the matter, referring our correspondent to the prison authorities.
All attempts to reach the Deputy Controller of Prison, DCP Solomon were not successful as he refused to pick his calls or respond to text messages sent him.
But according to a source close to the Nigerian Prison, Warri, the entire Staff of the Nigerian Prison, Warri are being forced to contribute the sum of one thousand Naira (#1000) each towards the release of the Prison Officer, Oveto Justice from the Police Headquarter, Asaba
Meanwhile as at the time of filing this report, Oveto Justice, the notorious Kidnapper, Stanley and his girl friend are still being held at the Delta State Police Headquarters, Asaba while Tony Nkenta- the Prison Keeper was transferred to Kwale Prison in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State pending when the department will take disciplinary action against him.
