Atiku Support Group Embarks on Town hall Meetings in Ekiti

The Campaign for Atiku Abubakar for President 2019 support group (CFAAP Women wing) has embarked on town hall elaborate sensitisation initiative and group inauguration in preparation for the 2019 general election scheduled to begin on February 16.

The Ekiti State Women wing Coordinator of the group, Campaign For Atiku Abubakar For President (CFAAP), Hon Mrs Olubunmi Oluboba Onigi, led hundreds of women and youths to a program tagged “RECOVERING NIGERIA FROM SLAVERY” town hall program, sensitise the electorate ahead of the elections.

The programme, which started at exactly 11 a.m. at Yeye Oba Civics Centre, Ikole Ekiti in Ekiti State, recorded a large number of women and youth.

The participants were chanting solidarity and victory songs for the PDP Presidential Candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Hon Olubunmi Oluboba had earlier informed the gathering that CFAAP embarked on the sensitisation to keep the support group leaders mentally alert and physically fit for the electioneering task ahead of them.

She charged them to work very hard in evangelising Atiku Abubakar to the doorstep of the electorate at the grassroots and ensure his successful outing during the forthcoming election.

She added that the group and its members were working with the aim of delivering their polling unit to Atiku, while all the state, LG and Ward Coordinators were fully inaugurated.

In his remark, Prince Adekunle Aladesanmi, State Coordinator of the group appreciate the Women wing of the group, thanked the participants for their resilience, solidarity and love for Atiku Abubakar, especially at this critical time when efforts were being to make Nigeria walk again.

The Chairman of the Occasion, Pastor Isaac Akinleye, Said, The Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation, has raised 14 posers for President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) saying that the government and the ruling party have abandoned governance and taken up the full duty of hurling insults at former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. He urged them to vote and ensure that their votes count.

The representative of Her Excellency Janet Olusola Kolapo the former wife of Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Mr Aribisala Ayodele, also said the only way their vote would count was by ensuring that they wait until results were counted and pasted at the polling boot to the satisfaction of all stakeholders present.

Mr Aribisala said it would be wasted efforts if an electorate only voted and left without a little patient for votes to be counted.
